This is a prototype for a small adventure game where you traverse a cave and as you progress you must give up your abilities/skills. The idea is that the player would become weaker with less options to navigate the cave. On top of losing abilities the player's torch would also dim, slowly shortening their view distance. This was added to put pressure onto the player to progress and possible make rash decisions.

Some of the sacrifices the player could choose:

- Lose your sword, meaning you can only stun enemies for a moment

- Lose the ability to sprint, you can't escape certain situations

- Lose your ability to jump, limiting the paths that can be taken in the cave

- Lose the ability to stealth kill enemies, there would be some enemies that needed to be stealth killed

- Lose the ability to crouch. this would force the player to fight or run

I created some scenarios but didn't find the choices that players made were interesting. Players were funneled into playing a specific way since they had given up their other options to approaching situations. 

In the end I wasn't happy with how the gameplay turned out but wanted to show the implementation of the abilities/gameplay.
